Fuzzy Logic
Fuzzy Logic is reasoning that is approximate/significant rather than precise for example; precise reasoning may state that a golden retriever might be 1.0, as close to "completely" dog as possible, while a Chihuahua might be 0.8, due to its size, and a seeing-eye dog only a 0.4, since it is often allowed where other dogs do not go, however with fuzzy logic a dog is a dog not matter it's shape or size. Fuzzy logic is used in computers when the user writes something like "between 1 and 5" in an excel sheet for instance. Fuzzy logic is used in many fields from control theory to A.I. and is constantly used by humans.
